W.I.T.C.H. The Movie: Legend of the Sacred Arbor
The standard candle in the lower chamber had burned down to a stubborn stub of tallow, but Phobos did not ask for another. He stood by the arched stone window, watching the unnatural, purple-tinted clouds gather over the horizon. Narissa’s magic left a coppery taste in the air long before her shadow ever crossed the sky.
"What? You want to release more prisoners?" Will Vandom's voice sliced through the tension in the room. She stepped forward, her heart pulsating with the heat of the Heart of Kandrakar resting against her chest. "Narissa's stronger than ever! The next time the witch attacks, we'll need help safeguarding Prince Phobos, not opening dungeon doors for every villain we've spent months locking away!"
Phobos didn't turn around immediately. He let the silence stretch, taking a slow breath. When he finally faced his two sisters, Elyon and Will, his expression was unreadable—a cold, polished mask of former royalty forced into a desperate alliance.
"Someone has to do something," Phobos said smoothly, leaning his hands on the stone ledge. "The plan wasn't working, so I came up with a better one. And your ignorance helped fool Narissa."
Will’s eyes widened, a flicker of hurt crossing her face before hardening into suspicion. "You used us? Your own sisters?"
"Prince Phobos told his sisters Will Vandom and Elyon Brown," Phobos said, his voice dropping into a low, measured tone as he looked back and forth between them, "I was counting on you to stop her."
"I was counting on you to be better than this!" Elyon snapped, stepping up beside Will. Her hands glowed with light, raw and defensive. "Victory at any cost is not a victory if you lose yourself in the process, Phobos. You haven't changed. You're just trading one dark power for another."
Across the realm, deep within the heart of the ancient forest where the ley lines converged, a very different alliance was taking shape.
Ash Ketchum wiped sweat from his forehead, leaning heavily against a moss-covered boulder. Beside him, Lucario stood stock-still, its aura sensors flared outward like delicate blue ribbons, tasting the hostility lingering in the air.
"Is that... the mystical tree?" Ash murmured, looking up at the towering, luminous trunk that stretched far beyond the canopy. Its leaves didn't rustle in the wind; they hummed with a deep, resonant frequency.
Lucario didn't answer right away. Its ears twitched, detecting the faint, jagged aura of a battle brewing miles away in Meridian. Prince Phobos was right about the scale of Narissa's threat, but even with Lucario and Ash's help, their quest may fail. The magic of this world was chaotic, raw, and unyielding—far removed from the structured battles Ash was used to.
"We aren't the only ones watching this storm, Ash," Lucario's voice resonated directly into Ash’s mind, low and tense.
Far beyond the borders of Meridian, in a dimly lit control room where screens flickered with real-time tactical maps of both worlds, two figures stood over a primary console.
"I am sure you received the warning from the Brain Trust," Masaki Karsu told Kyogi Kagimi, his fingers hovering over a locked data transfer file.
Kyogi stared at the streaming lines of code, his jaw set tightly. "I got it. But the rest of the group..."
"The rest of the group doesn't see the full picture," Kyogi said, interrupting himself as a new profile flared red on the screen. "Makubex knows too much. They won't let him walk away from this."
"Makubex isn't stupid," Masaki replied coldly, sliding a keycard into the drive to wipe the terminal logs. "He knew the risks when he tapped into the Lower Town servers. But if Narissa breaks through Phobos's perimeter, Makubex’s data won't matter anyway. None of it will."
Outside, the wind howled, carrying the faint, distant crackle of thunder. The storm wasn't coming—it was already here. https://audiomack.com/dj-new-new-dre/song/6a6235a72aeca
