Kyogi Kagimi and the Mystery of Babylon: Descent of the Dark Master

The night sky above the Kingdom of Meridian hung heavy, devoid of its usual starry luster, replaced instead by an encroaching, unnatural dark. On the balcony of the grand palace, tension was thick enough to cut with a blade. Below, the rumbling ground signaled a terrifying reality: two massive, opposing armies were marching, poised to clash directly in the heart of the realm.
"Sir Aaron, please!" pleaded Masaki Karsu, his hand tight on the hilt of his sword as he looked out over the horizon. "The two armies are about to clash, Master! And the Kingdom of Meridian is caught between them. When they reach the palace, Meridian will fall!"
Sir Aaron stood firm, his aura guardian staff glowing faintly in the dim light, his expression etched with a grim determination. He turned toward Queen Elyon, hoping to convince her to flee to safety before the vanguard arrived.
But Elyon shook her head, her stance unyielding despite the tears glistening in her eyes. "I shall not leave," she told Sir Aaron, Masaki, and her brother, Prince Phobos, who stood shadowed in the doorway. "When the armies attack, my fate shall be the same as the rest of my people."
Phobos narrowed his eyes, his mind already churning with dark machinations, but before he could speak, a sharp, confident voice cut through the despair.
"What's the matter? Standing around like that won't make anything happen, you know."
Kyogi Kagimi stepped forward from the palace corridors, leaning casually against a stone pillar before looking over at two newcomers who seemed entirely overwhelmed by the impending doom. Will Vandom and Irma Lair were staring at the blackened sky, their breathing shallow.
Kyogi smirked faintly, a touch of dark humor in his eyes. "Now I get it... you're from the outside world, so you're not used to being surrounded by all this darkness."
Will snapped out of her daze, her hand instinctively flying to her pocket, where the Heart of Kandrakar pulsed with a reassuring warmth. "We're not afraid of the dark, Kyogi. We're trying to figure out how to stop a war."
"If it's a way out or a hidden advantage you need, then look no further," Prince Phobos sneered, stepping into the light. He held up a small, intricate object, letting it catch the dim glow of the magical fires.
"The Seal of Phobos," Irma whispered, recognizing the artifact.
"Exactly," Phobos replied, his voice dripping with smooth arrogance. "It's a small metal talisman with a royal crest. It has the power to open anything that's closed, and reveal anything hidden. If there is a secret path to turn the tide of this battle, or a barrier blocking our enemies, this will command it."
Sir Aaron looked from the Seal to the horizon, where the first war horns began to echo through the trees. "Then we have no time to waste. If Meridian is to survive the night, we must use every power at our disposal
