Spirit Detective: The Lightning Emperor’s Shadow — Fall of Prince Phobos

The dim, echoing halls of the subterranean prison complex beneath Metamoor were oppressive, filled with the hum of dark magic and cold stone. Prince Phobos stood before the massive row of sealed iron cells, his eyes reflecting the soft glow of the spirit pool beside him.
"What? You want to release more prisoners?"
Phobos turned toward the voice, his regal expression tight. "Narissa's stronger than ever. The next time the witch attacks, we'll need help safeguarding Prince Phobos." He quieted, pacing along the edge of the iron gates, speaking in a low murmur as if reflecting on his past decisions. "Perhaps my punishment for their failures was too severe..."
"I can't believe you have the audacity to call yourself a Guardian!"
Phobos snapped his head up, his eyes flashing angrily at his younger sister. Will Vandom stood at the threshold, her arms crossed, her aura blazing with righteous fury.
"You don't have what it takes to achieve victory at any cost!" the prince shouted back, his voice echoing off the cavern walls.
Will didn't flinch. She stepped closer, looking her brother dead in the eye. "Brother, victory at any cost isn't a victory if you lose yourself in the process. We might have a chance against the Witch of Cinders yet."
Phobos exhaled sharply, turning his attention away from Will and back toward the glowing, mirrored basin in the center of the chamber.
Looking at the shimmering water, Yusuke Urameshi leaned against a stone pillar, crossing his arms with a slight smirk. "So... what's with the pool?"
"Certain dragons have the ability to see visions," Prince Phobos explained, pointing toward the deep blue waters. "Spyro, the legendary purple dragon, is one such dragon. He has the ability to see events far, far away."
The pool rippled, displaying frost-bitten landscapes and frozen peaks towering beneath a stormy sky.
"I see that one of the Guardians is being held in Dante's Freezer," Phobos murmured, staring into the swirling vision. He looked up, his tone suddenly stark and serious. "If you encounter the Sorceress, run—you're not ready to face her yet."
Phobos then walked over to Yusuke, studying his brother's intense aura. He reached out, sensing the strange, surging spiritual power coursing just beneath Yusuke's skin.
"You are born under the influence of an unusual star," Prince Phobos told his brother softly. "Your life energy is somehow different than others."
Yusuke cracked a grin, his fists echoing with a faint spark of Spirit Energy. "Different or not, if this witch or sorceress comes looking for a fight, she's going to get one."
