Spirit Infusers Movie: Fusion Evolution! The Wrath of Masaki Karsu
The air inside the dark, crumbling chamber of the Limitless Fortress was thick with tension. Deep within its shadows, Prince Phobos stood alongside the other heroes, his expression grim as he held a weathered scroll.
"Her spirit is very powerful... it could be of use to us, but we must wait," Phobos told Zoey, Corina, Will Vandom, Takuya Kanbara, and Masaki Karasu. He looked up, his regal eyes serious. "We mustn't rush these things. I sense a connection to the Mew Mews. If we time it right, we can use this to destroy Lucemon's influence before it spreads."
Zoey and Corina nodded, their Mew Mew instincts sharp and ready, while Will Vandom focused her elemental energy, keeping a watchful eye on the perimeter. Takuya Kanbara stood tall, the fiery spirit of the Legendary Warriors burning within him, and Masaki Karasu kept a silent, calculated guard.
"The list we found of those in the Earth town will help with the search for my sister," Phobos continued, his voice tight with concern. "Lucemon is hunting her. She won't know her identity. What used to be her protection is now our enemy's opportunity."
Will leaned closer to inspect the strange, shifting runes scrawled across the parchment. "What kind of writing is that?" she asked, a chill running down her spine. Turning to ensure everyone was holding up under the pressure, she asked, "Will, are you okay?"
"These letters are not from this world, ancient one," Takuya muttered, looking toward the old mage who had guided them into the deepest sectors of the fortress. "We need your help."
The mage stepped forward, his hands trembling as he examined the glowing script. "This is the writing of the beast," the mage whispered in horror. "Lucemon's malice is woven into it. It says the dark power is in the Limitless Fortress right now, hidden in human form."
"Let's have you stop right there, Mr. Karasu," a sharp, mocking voice interrupted from the doorway.
Kyogi Kagimi stepped out of the shadows, a smug grin plastered across his face. He ignored Phobos and the others, locking his eyes onto the calm, blonde warrior. "So, you're Masaki Karasu. The last of the Four Kings of the old Volts."
Masaki didn't flinch. He turned slowly toward Kyogi, his expression utterly unreadable. "I am surprised we made it here," Masaki said coolly to the group, keeping his focus entirely on the intruder who served the fallen angel.
Kyogi laughed, a cold, mocking sound that echoed through the stone hall. He pointed a finger down at Takuya, who suddenly stumbled, bruised and battered from a previous ambush, struggling to push himself up from the stone floor.
"But how is Takuya Kanbara supposed to fusion evolve," Kyogi sneered, his eyes flashing with dark malice, "if he can't even get up off the ground to face Lucemon?"
