Limitless Fortress OVA: Awakening of the Nightmare Cloud(Sub: "The Demon Tower Reaches Far Into the Sky")
The canopy of the Limitless Fortress had long since swallowed the sky, but tonight, the atmosphere felt exceptionally heavy. A crimson hue bled through the jagged branches of the surrounding woods, casting long, twisted shadows across the gathered warriors.
Kyogi Kagimi leaned back against the bark of a weathered tree, his sharp gaze cutting through the gloom as he adjusted his heavy earring. He looked toward the blonde man standing a few paces away.
"So tell me," Kagimi murmured, his voice cool and calculated. "Which side do you intend to take in this brawl? You haven't made your position clear either."
Masaki Kurusu barely shifted his stance, his expression hidden behind the sharp angles of his 90s-style anime aesthetic. "I'll take whatever side I like best, as always."
Kagimi let out a dry, humorless chuckle. "Perhaps I should say that sounds just like you. Even as we speak, there's a dark cloud hanging over this Limitless Fortress. I don't care which way things go, as long as I am here to see it." He paused, his eyes shifting toward the edge of the clearing where a new silhouette was emerging. "Look... another man led by destiny has chosen to return."
Out of the darkness, a figure stepped forward, surrounded by an eerie, swirling miasma. The air grew instantly colder, the faint scent of decay and dark magic choking out the natural smell of the forest.
Sailor Moon, her iconic uniform tattered and stained with the soot of a corrupted world, stepped into the moonlight. But she wasn't the bright guardian of justice they once knew; her eyes held a hollow, haunted intensity, and the crescent moon on her forehead glowed with a sickening, pale light. Vines twisted around her boots like reaching claws.
"You're a wicked witch obsessed with nightmares," Genji muttered, stepping forward from the shadows of the brush, his hand gripping his weapon. His eyes locked onto the corrupted scout. "I will eliminate you—the root of this evil—and put an end to everything."
"It won't be that simple," a heavy voice boomed from the darkness. Akira Udo, the King of Behemoth, stepped up beside them, his massive frame cutting an imposing figure against the blood-red moon. A flock of black crows scattered from his shoulders, taking flight into the choked canopy above. He looked up at the monolithic structure looming over the trees. "But we still have a long way to climb, and there's a tower of demons ahead of us reaching far into the sky."
The crossover alliance stood at the precipice of a twisted reality. The wind howled through the dead trees, and beneath the gaze of the bleeding moon, the battle for the Limitless Fortress was about to begin.
