Sailor Moon Movie: The Curse of the Sleeping Forest Album Intro
The air inside the Limitless Fortress was thick with the scent of damp moss and centuries of stagnation. Below us, the roots of Glimwood Tangle pulsed with a faint, bioluminescent rhythm, casting long, distorted shadows against the crumbling stone walls of what used to be the Silver Millennium.
I held Pharmacist Gen’s old, leather-bound journal close, squinting at the faded ink under the forest's glow.
"Both Galarian Ponyta and Rapidash live deep within the sleeping forest and have hardly been seen at all," I read aloud, my voice barely a whisper against the oppressive quiet. "They’ve been bathed in a mysterious, mystical light for generations, and that’s what created the mutation we see today. And that’s how it happened..."
"How what happened?" Ash Ketchum asked, leaning over my shoulder, his Pikachu sparking nervously.
Before I could answer, the air grew freezing cold. The ambient light of the luminescent mushrooms snapped from a soft pastel to a harsh, blinding neon. Right in front of our eyes, Tenchi Masaki—who had been standing guard near the archway—simply vanished without a trace. No flash of light, no sound. Just gone.
Then, an eerie, disembodied voice echoed through the canopy, vibrating in our chests:
"Those who wander into our forest shall fall into an eternal slumber."
The Gathering of Kings and Emperors
"Show yourself!" shouted Akira, the King of Behemoth, his aura flaring as he stepped between the group and the encroaching darkness.
We were a mismatched council assembled in the ruins of a forgotten kingdom: Akira, Ash, Genji the Lightning Emperor, Sailor Moon, Masaki Katsu, and Kyogi Kagimi. Tension had been brewing between the factions long before Tenchi disappeared, and the forest's trickery was pushing everyone to the brink of a brawl.
Kyogi Kagimi leaned against a ruined pillar, an indifferent smirk playing on his lips despite the terrifying voice.
Akira turned on him, his eyes blazing. "So tell me, Kyogi—which side do you intend to take in this brawl? You haven't made your position clear either."
"I'll take whatever side I like best, as always," Kyogi replied smoothly, crossing his arms.
From the shadows near the back, the real Tenchi Masaki stepped forward—somehow returned, or perhaps he had never left, his temporal displacement a mere illusion of the Tangle. He sighed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Perhaps I should say that sounds just like you," Tenchi said to Kyogi, his voice tired.
The Dark Cloud Over the Silver Millennium
"Look up," Genji the Lightning Emperor commanded, his hands crackling with static electricity as he pointed toward the shattered ceiling of the fortress.
A massive, oppressive dark cloud was hanging directly above the Limitless Fortress. It seemed to swallow the very starlight, swirling like a vortex of pure malice.
"Those ruins..." Sailor Moon whispered, her eyes welling with tears as she looked around the glowing, overgrown sanctuary. "The Silver Millennium. Our kingdom... or at least, that's what it used to be."
We moved deeper into the wreckage, guided by the pulsing light of the mutated Ponyta paths, until we reached the heart of the ruins: The Chamber of Prayer.
In the center of the chamber sat a massive, weathered monolith. Imbedded deep within the solid rock was a single, glowing relic—a word forged in ancient stone, pulsing in tandem with the heartbeat of Glimwood Tangle itself. It was the key to dispersing the dark cloud, but it was sealed tight.
"A word in a stone?" Sailor Venus interjected, stepping forward and looking at the massive heroes assembled around her. "Can one of you free it?"
