Broken Vow: The Scepter of Phobos

The convergence happened at the Crown of Thorns, a jagged peak where the dimensions of Earth, Deltora, and Earth-land bled into one another. It wasn't a meeting of choice; it was a collision of destinies.

The Vanguard

Leif of Deltora stood at the center, the Belt of Deltora pulsing with a frantic, rhythmic light. Beside him, Haru Glory gripped the Ten Commandments sword, the Rave Stone embedded in its hilt humming in sync with Leif’s gems.

"The shadow isn't just coming from the Shadow Lord anymore," Leif shouted over the howling planar wind.

"Whatever it is, it smells like dark magic and old grudges," Natsu Dragneel yelled, slamming his fists together. Flames erupted from his hands, licking the air. "I'm fired up! Let’s just melt the whole mountain and see who's left standing!"

The Cold Resolve

From the mist emerged a figure of silver and silk. Sesshomaru glided forward, his expression one of bored contempt. He didn't look at the screaming dragonslayer or the boy with the legendary stones. His hand rested on the hilt of Bakusaiga.

"Noise does not equal strength, half-dragon," Sesshomaru said, his voice a low chill. "The rift is tearing the fabric of the West. If you cannot close it, step aside before I erase you along with it."

The Darkness Rising

A cruel, melodic laugh echoed from the summit. Prince Phobos descended on a platform of dark energy, his long hair flowing like a shroud. He looked down at the assembled heroes—and the demon—with narrowed eyes.

"Such a quaint collection of champions," Phobos sneered. "Leif, your trinkets will look lovely in my treasury once Meridian is merged with your pathetic kingdom."

He raised a hand, and tendrils of dark light lashed out. But they were intercepted by a shimmering wall of pink energy.

The Heart of the Team

Will Vandom hovered in the air, the Heart of Kandrakar glowing brilliantly against her chest. Her wings fluttered with a hum of pure power.

"Not today, Phobos," Will snapped, her eyes sparking with Quintessence. "You’re a long way from Meridian, and I’ve got four other Guardians' worth of elemental backup if you want to play rough."

The Battle Joined

The mountain shook as the factions collided:

Natsu and Haru charged the front line. Natsu’s Fire Dragon’s Roar combined with Haru’s Explosion form, creating a supernova that shattered Phobos’s magical barriers.

Leif acted as the tactician, using the Belt’s power to see through Phobos's illusions, shouting directions to Will.

Will Vandom channeled the lightning, striking down the shadow-creatures Phobos summoned, while Sesshomaru moved like a blur of white death, his whip of light carving through anything that escaped the flames.

"The Rave Stone!" Leif signaled, pointing his sword toward the rift. "Haru, now!"

The Sealing

Haru shifted his blade to its tenth form, Star Raver. Will funneled the raw energy of the Heart into the blade, and Natsu added a final, scorching blast of King Fire.

Even Sesshomaru gave a subtle flick of his wrist, sending a wave of destructive energy from Bakusaiga to clear the path.

The combined force hit the rift—and Phobos’s ego—simultaneously. With a scream of frustrated vanity, Phobos was blown back into the collapsing portal.

The Aftermath

As the dust settled, the mountain was silent. The dimensional bleed was fading.

"He'll be back," Will said, landing softly and wiping soot from her forehead. "Phobos never knows when to quit."

"Neither do we," Haru grinned, sheathing his sword.

Sesshomaru turned to leave without a word, vanishing into the mist as quickly as he’d appeared. Natsu let out a loud stomach growl that broke the tension.

"Great," Leif laughed, adjusting his cloak. "I suppose we owe the savior of Fairy Tail a feast before everyone heads home?"

"Now you're talking my language!" Natsu cheered, and for a moment, the worlds felt a little more at peace
