Sailor Moon SuperS: The Movie — Rebellion of the Heavy Regalia! The Dream of Pegasus Lies Within the Limitless Fortress

It all started when cards started raining down from the heavens. At first, they seemed harmless—just glittering slips of pasteboard drifting through the clouds like technicolor snow. People collected them, traded them, laughed at the bizarre, intricate artwork printed on their faces.
But we quickly found out they weren't so harmless after all.
They were packed with incredible power from another world. When a card was activated, the fabric of our reality tore open. Monsters materialized, gravity warped, and ancient elemental forces were unleashed at the touch of a fingertip. Society crumbled into a chaotic game where the stakes were survival, and the world needed a vanguard to keep the darkness at bay.
That’s where we came in. Bound by a shared vow to protect the innocent and master this alien magic, we formed an alliance. Along with my friends, we became the new Sleeping Forest.
The Gathering
Our headquarters was nestled in the hollow of a massive, ancient redwood, retrofitted with holographic monitors and mystical containment fields. On any given night, the energy inside was electric.
"We've got a massive energy spike in Sector 4," called out Meiphon Lee, our tactical commander. She was hunched over a glowing map of the city, her fingers flying across a holographic keyboard. As the commander of the Angel Links, Meiphon brought military precision to a magical crisis. She didn't just see cards; she saw trajectories, threat levels, and logistical choke points. "An Omega-class Gatekeeper card just activated. It’s tearing up the financial district."
"Then it's a good thing the vanguard is ready to fly," a booming voice echoed from the rafters.
Down dropped Icky, the Sky King and Leader of Kagerasmaru. With a casual flick of his wrist, a pair of shimmering, ethereal wings unfurled from his back. Icky was the master of the slipstream, a warrior who commanded the very air we breathed. He grinned, tossing a glowing green card in the air and catching it. "My wind riders are already in position. We can box them in from above."
"Don't go blowing everything away before I get a piece of the action," muttered Genji, the Lightning Emperor. He was leaning against the wall, sparks literally dancing across his knuckles. Genji was a storm tethered to a human soul. When he channeled his cards, the sky didn't just rain—it struck. "The grid in Sector 4 is already unstable. One good jolt from me, and I can short-circuit whatever beasties just crawled out of that portal."
"And we will do it with grace," a soft, yet commanding voice added. Sailor Moon stepped into the light, her iconic uniform pristine, the Moon Stick gleaming in her hand. She had adapted to this new world better than any of us; her innate lunar magic harmonized perfectly with the celestial energy of the fallen cards. "The power in these cards comes from a place of imbalance, but love and justice will always restore the peace. Let's go, everyone!"
The Battle for Sector 4
When we arrived, the sky above the city was a violent shade of purple. A massive, armored behemoth—conjured by a rogue "World-Ender" card—was smashing through skyscrapers, its roars rattling our teeth. Rogue duelists stood on nearby rooftops, laughing as they tried to command the uncontrollable beast.
"Meiphon, call the play," I shouted over the wind.
Meiphon didn’t blink. She tapped her earpiece. "Genji, take the high ground and lock down their escape routes with an electrical perimeter. Icky, scatter the rogue duelists and disrupt the beast's vision. Sailor Moon, you and our leader take the core. Move!"
The execution was flawless.
Genji vaulted into the air, drawing a brilliant yellow card. "Thundercrash Aura!" he roared. He slammed his hands into a lightning rod, sending a localized EMP pulsing through the streets, freezing the monster's armored legs in a cage of pure voltage.
Above him, the sky erupted. Icky soared through the smoke, a hurricane swirling around his boots. "Kagerasmaru, gale formation!" he commanded. A flock of spectral wind-beasts materialized at his flank, diving through the rogue duelists, safely disarming them of their decks and scattering their concentration.
With the beast blinded and bound, Sailor Moon held her stick high, drawing upon both her own star power and a pristine, glowing cosmic card we’d recovered weeks prior.
"In the name of the Moon, I will punish you!" she cried, the silver crystal flashing with blinding brilliance.
I drew my own signature card, feeling the otherworldly power surge through my veins, channeling it directly alongside her. Together, our combined energies formed a piercing beam of pure, purifying light that struck the behemoth dead center.
The monster didn't explode; it dissolved. The violent purple energy receded, collapsing back into a single, blank card that fluttered harmlessly down into my open palm.
The Calm After the Storm
The city fell silent, save for the crackle of Genji's leftover static. The rogue duelists had fled, and the civilians were safe.
Icky landed next to me, his wings folding away with a soft rustle. "Another one for the vault?"
"Yeah," I said, looking down at the now-dormant card. "But there are thousands more out there."
Meiphon’s voice cracked through the comms, a rare, subtle hint of a smile in her tone. "Good work, team. Area is secure. Let's get back before the next wave drops."
As we stood together looking out over the city, the weight of our reality settled in. The heavens had changed the rules of our world, turning the sky into a warzone. But as long as we stood together—the tactician, the sky king, the lightning emperor, the guardian of justice, and me—the world had a fighting chance.
We are the shield in the dark. We are the masters of the fallen sky. We are the new Sleeping Forest.
