Fullmetal Moonrise: The Legend of Dragon Tower
The campfire crackled in the heart of a dimension that shouldn't exist—a crossroads where the ley lines of four different worlds bled into one.
Haru Glory leaned his massive sword, the Ten Powers, against a moss-covered log. He looked across the flames at the strange company he’d kept for the last three days. "Still no sign of a way back?" he asked, his voice steady despite the Silver Ray of hope in his chest dimming slightly.
Ash Ketchum looked up from his Pokédex, Pikachu perched on his shoulder. "Nothing yet, Haru. But hey, we’ve got plenty of food, and Pikachu is a great lookout!"
"Pika-pi!" the yellow mouse chirped, though his ears twitched toward the dark treeline.
Across from them, Jill was adjusting the straps of his armor. The climber from the Tower of Druagga looked weary; he was used to the vertical climb of a shifting monolith, not the horizontal expanse of this endless forest. "My shield is holding, but this place feels... wrong. It’s like the Tower, but without the rules. No floors, no monsters with set patterns."
"It’s the Shadow Lord’s doing," Leif muttered, his hand resting instinctively on the Belt of Deltora. The seven gems—Topaz, Ruby, Opal, Lapis Lazuli, Emerald, Amethyst, and Diamond—pulsed with a faint, rhythmic light. "I can feel the malice in the air. This isn't just a random rift. We’ve been pulled here for a reason."
The Ambush
The peace was shattered by a low, vibrating hum. From the shadows emerged creatures that defied logic: shadowy knights clad in the armor of Druagga’s monsters, but infused with the dark energy of the Shadowlands.
Leif was the first to react. "The Diamond is glowing! Behind us!"
Haru swung the Ten Powers, shifting it instantly into its second form, Melforce. A blast of wind pushed the first wave of shadow-knights back. "Stay sharp! These things don't have hearts!"
Ash jumped to his feet. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! Let’s give 'em a shock!"
A massive bolt of electricity lit up the clearing, illuminating a towering figure at the edge of the woods—a General of the Shadow Lord, wielding a spear that looked suspiciously like a corrupted blue crystal.
The Convergence of Power
Jill stepped forward, his shield raised high. "I’ll take the brunt of the charge! Haru, Leif—get around the sides!"
The battle was a symphony of clashing worlds.
Jill anchored the defense, his shield glowing with a golden light as he parried the General’s heavy spear strikes.
Ash directed the flow of combat, calling out positions like a seasoned strategist. "Pikachu, Iron Tail to the left! Rowlet, Seed Bomb!" (He’d managed to find his backpack, thankfully).
Leif drew the sword of Adin. As he swung, the Belt of Deltora flared. The Amethyst calmed the frantic energy of the monsters, slowing their movements just enough for the final blow.
"Now, Haru!" Leif shouted.
Haru gripped the hilt of the Ravelt. He didn't just see a monster; he saw a barrier between him and his friends back home. "For the world!" he roared. He shifted the sword into its tenth and most powerful form—Star Raver.
With a blinding flash of celestial light, Haru cleaved through the General. The explosion of energy didn't just destroy the enemy; it tore a hole in the fabric of the dimension.
