Jirai: Prophecy of the Sleeping Forest
The air in the heart of the Jirai kingdom didn’t just grow cold; it turned heavy, thick with the scent of crushed pine and ancient dust.
"Those who wander into our forest shall fall into an eternal slumber..."
The ominous voice of Agito echoed throughout the sleeping forest, vibrating through the very roots of the towering trees. It wasn't a threat; it was a decree.
Next to him stood a terrifying assembly of power. Akira, the King of Beasts, whose silent, hulking frame radiated raw, feral dominance. Beside him was Tenchi Masaki, the King of Jirai, his expression unreadable but his aura crackling with the absolute authority of the realm. Completing the vanguard was Genji, the Lightning Emperor, static electricity dancing lazily across his knuckles, illuminating the dark canopy in brief, violent flashes.
They stood like sentinels at the edge of the world, waiting for a threat only they seemed to anticipate.
Gasps.
Princess Aeyeka bolted upright, her breath catching in her throat. She wasn't in the suffocating dampness of the ancient woods; she was in her royal chambers on the Planet Jirai. Yet, the echo of Agito's voice still rang in her ears like a physical blow.
Panic seizing her chest, she threw back her silk sheets and rushed into the grand council chamber, her robes trailing behind her like a silver mist.
"What a terrible dream," Aeyeka murmured to herself, clutching her hands to her heart. "It seemed so disturbingly real... Why can't I shake it off?"
The chamber was quiet, but the air felt charged. Standing near the grand balcony, looking out over the sprawling, glowing spires of the kingdom, was Rika, the Queen of Thorns. Her eyes, sharp and green as emeralds, turned toward the frantic princess.
"I have an uneasy feeling something awful is going to happen," Aeyeka confessed, her voice trembling as she approached the Queen. "It’s the calm before the storm..."
Rika didn't scoff. She didn't offer empty comforts. Instead, she looked back out toward the dark horizon where the kingdom's sacred forest met the starlight. A single, thorny vine coiled protectively around her wrist.
"Was your dream a premonition, Aeyeka?" Rika asked, her voice dangerously calm. "Or was it an invitation? Because the forest is waking up... and it is hungry
