Symphonia: Twilight of the Emperor

The dimensional rift didn’t open with a roar, but with the crisp, crackling sound of static electricity.
When the smoke cleared, four figures from entirely different worlds found themselves standing in the center of a ruined, ancient courtyard. Above them, the sky was a bruised shade of purple, torn apart by cosmic anomalies.
Genji, the Lightning Emperor, was the first to react. Sparks danced across his knuckles as he dropped into a low, aggressive combat stance. "Identify yourselves," he commanded, his voice carrying the resonant hum of a localized thunderstorm. "Before I clear this courtyard with a bolt."
"Whoa, easy there, Sparky," Haru Glory said, raising his left hand in a placating gesture while his right instinctively rested on the hilt of the Ten Powers sword slung across his back. "We’re all a little confused here. No need to start throwing lightning around."
A few paces away, Leif of Deltora stood frozen, his hand gripping the Belt of Deltora beneath his cloak. The great gems—the Topaz, the Ruby, the Opal—were pulsing wildly against his waist, warming to the touch. Danger is near, the gems warned him, but not from these strangers.
"He's right," Leif said, his voice calm but authoritative, the tone of a young king used to assessing crises. "Look at the sky. We weren't brought here to fight each other. We were pulled here because this world is dying."
Before Genji could retort, a gentle, ethereal light bathed the courtyard, instantly snuffing out the aggressive tension.
Floating a few inches above the cracked stone tiles was a woman of breathtaking, otherworldly beauty. Her long, flowing hair seemed to drift as if underwater, and her eyes held the depth of a thousand oceans. Tsunami, the cosmic goddess and Jurai ship-avatar, smiled softly at the trio.
"The young king speaks the truth," Tsunami said, her voice echoing not in their ears, but directly in their minds. "A localized collapse of time and space has anchored itself to this realm. If it is not sealed, the tear will consume my sister ships, and eventually, the worlds you all call home."
The Convergence
Genji stood up straight, the sparks around him fading, though his fierce pride remained intact. "A collapse? How are we supposed to stop a tear in reality? I smash empires, woman. I don't knit fabric."
"We do it together," Haru said, a familiar, stubborn grin breaking across his face. He drew his massive sword, the blade gleaming. "I've faced world-ending threats before. If it can bleed, or if it can break, we can beat it."
"It cannot bleed," Tsunami clarified gently, gesturing toward the center of the courtyard where a massive, swirling vortex of dark matter was beginning to expand. "But it can be stabilized. It requires an immense amount of pure energy, a binding force of unity, and a focal point of absolute willpower."
Leif stepped forward, unclasping his cloak to reveal the radiant Belt of Deltora. "The gems of Deltora possess the purest magic of my world. They can act as the binding force."
"And I will provide the raw power," Genji said, a smirk crossing his face. He loved a challenge. "You want energy? I'll give you a storm that will shake the foundations of this void."
"I'll be the vanguard," Haru said, shifting his sword to its Explosion form. "If any dimensional monsters try to crawl out of that hole while you guys are casting your spells, they have to get through me."
"Then let us begin," Tsunami whispered, her aura expanding until it enveloped them all in a protective, translucent shield of Jurai energy. "Hold fast to your resolve."
The Battle for the Void
As if on cue, the vortex roared. Horrific, shifting entities made of pure shadow and jagged anti-matter began to pour out of the rift, sensing the intruders.
"Go!" Haru yelled.
He sprinted forward, leaping into the air. "Eisenmeteor!" he shouted, switching his blade to its heavy, non-magic form to smash through the frontline of shadow beasts, before instantly shifting back: "Explosion!" A massive detonation cleared the entire eastern flank of the courtyard in a brilliant flash of light.
Genji closed his eyes, tapping into the core of his power. The sky above answered his call.
