The Tower of Druaga: Shadow of the Heavy Regalia Sleeping Forest II Outro Beat
The dimensional tear opened with the sound of a tearing canvas, depositing seven wildly different individuals into a sprawling, neon-lit metropolis that looked like a cross between Neo-Tokyo and a Pokémon stadium.
For a moment, there was only the sound of confusion.
"Where the hell am I? I was in the middle of a case," growled Yusuke Urameshi, dusting off his green school uniform jacket and looking around with a scowl.
"Hey! Watch where you’re dropping your spirit energy, punk," hissed Icky (Ikki Minami), the Baby Face of the Air Gear world. He skated backward on his Air Treks, sparks flying from the wheels as he struck a defiant pose. "You almost scuffed my rides!"
"Oh great, more loud boys," muttered Sailor Moon (Usagi Tsukino), rubbing her head where she’d bumped it on the pavement. "I was supposed to meet Rei for tea. Now I’m in some weird sci-fi city, and my stomach is already growling!"
"Pika-pi?" Ash Ketchum’s partner, Pikachu, hopped off his shoulder, sparks crackling from its cheeks as it looked around defensively. Ash adjusted his cap, his eyes widening with excitement rather than fear. "Whoa! This place is incredible! Are those... flying roller skates?!"
Before Ikki could brag about his ATs, the ground trembled. A massive surge of static electricity filled the air.
"Calm yourselves, mortals and travelers alike," a booming, resonant voice echoed. Standing atop a nearby ruin was Genji the Lightning Emperor, his armor crackling with brilliant azure electricity. "You have been brought to the Nexus. A convergence of realities. And it seems we are not alone."
"He’s right," said a calm, smooth voice from the shadows. Ban Mido stepped into the neon light, a half-burned cigarette dangling from his lips. He pushed up his purple sunglasses, his eyes sharp. "I can smell the bad news from a mile away. And unfortunately, I don't get paid to fight interdimensional monsters for free."
"Monsters?!" Tenchi Masaki gasped, clutching a glowing wooden hilt—the Master Key—tightly in his hand. He looked around nervously, half-expecting Ryoko or Ayeka to pop out and start a fight, but finding only a horde of grotesque, shadow-like creatures creeping out from the alleyways.
The Battle of the Nexus
The shadow creatures lunged. They were amorphous beasts feeding on the chaotic energy of the dimensional rift.
"Alright, team! We don't know each other, but we know how to fight!" Ash yelled, shifting into battle mode. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"
A massive pillar of yellow lightning shot from Pikachu, frying a cluster of shadows.
"Not bad, kid, but watch how a real emperor does it!" Genji roared. He raised his hand, channeling his signature move.
"Lightning Judgment!"
A cascade of blinding blue forks rained from the sky, vaporizing an entire flank of the shadow army.
"Hey, don't leave all the fun for the electric guys!" Ikki laughed, spinning on his heels. He accelerated down the street, leaping off a ruined car. Using the Wind Road, he created a localized hurricane with his skates, slicing through a dozen monsters. "How's that for a localized storm?!"
Meanwhile, Yusuke was already in the thick of it, throwing brutal punches that sent shockwaves through the air. A massive shadow beast tried to sneak up behind him.
"Get lost," Yusuke muttered, turning around and bringing his index finger forward.
